UPDATE: Missing Carvenera Woman's Car Found Under Bizzare Circumstances

In a surprise follow up to an unsolved missing person's case, the car of Jessica Plains, a (then) teenage hiker who dissapeared on New Years Eve 1994, was found bizzarely on the roof of the Carvenera Police Station.

The Carvenera Police Department have issued a statement on the strange occurrence and they ask that anyone with information regarding the appearance of the car or the disappearance of Ms Plains contact them through their tip line or website.

'We are confounded as to how the car has gotten onto the roof but we believe this could be a major piece of evidence that could help us locate Jessica. The car is in pristine condition, as though it has been kept in a garage and looked after ever since it dissapeared alongside Jessica. We believe this could be a form of taunting from whoever has taken Jessica and we are now considering this case to be an abduction.

The Carvenera Chronicle were shown exclusive CCTV footage taken from a business across the street from the police station, at exactly 2:37AM the car suddenly appears on the roof of the building. Police believe the footage to be doctored but the owner of Salis' Bakery claims they haven't touched it.

The case came to national attention when it was featured on an episode of NBC's Unsolved Mysteries with Robert Stack. Hundreds of calls were made but nothing concrete came of the appearence.

The Carvenera Chronicle contacted the Plains family but they refused to comment on the occurrence, instead requesting that we publish the below photo of Jessica in case that a reader might recognise her.
