Guide

Blu-Ray (1080p HD): The highest quality format currently available to watch the series on. Blu-Ray discs play on Blu-Ray Players, Playstation 3, Playstation 4 (incl Slim and Pro models), Playstation 5 DISC model, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox One S DISC model. *The Blu-Ray disc region MUST match the player/consoles region unless the disc is region free, for example a Region A disc will only play on a player/console from North America, South America, U.S. Territories, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and other areas of Southeast Asia. For further information, Sony has created a helpful guide to Blu-Ray regions.

DVD (480p SD): A step down from the visual quality of Blu-Ray but still a great and affordable way to watch the show, it is notable that certain DVD releases are lower quality than others but this will be signified in the guide. DVD's will play on DVD players, Playstation 2 (incl Slim model), Playstation 3 (incl slim models), Playstation 4 (incl Slim and Pro models), Playstation 5 DISC models (I have not tested though), Xbox 360 (incl Elite and Arcade models), Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox One S DISC model. As with Blu-Rays, the DVD region code must be the same as the player/consoles region.

VHS (240p, 360p, 480p): VHS is an outdated format of physical media, though some consider watching the show on VHS to be a more 'authentic' experience. Typically VHS tapes have a significantly lower quality than DVDs. It is reccomended to watch VHS tapes on a CRT TV as is the intended viewing format. VHS tapes are not region-locked like Blu-Rays and DVDs, but they must be played on a television from the region they are produced for the correct picture format due to differing video standards of the time. VHS tapes can only be played on VHS players, though some CRT TVs and VCRs have tape slots, please research based on what model yours is.

Laserdisc: I would only recommend Laserdisc to collectors, as it is very expensive and only a marginal improvement on VHS quality. Laserdiscs only play on Laserdisc players and are region restricted.
